On July 22, 2016, Governor Brown signed into law, Senate Bill no. 1281. The new law amendment section 6061.7 of the California Business and Professions Code requires all law schools operating in California that are not approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) to disclose specific information regarding their programs of legal education.

Cost of Attendance – Cost of attendance (COA) is a college’s total estimated expenses for one year including tuition, housing and food, books and supplies, transportation, loan fees, and miscellaneous expenses. A school’s cost of attendance is used to determine each student’s eligibility for federal student loans.
